Katherine Brown

Katherine Brown is Chief Executive of the Institute of Alcohol Studies, a London based NGO that aims to improve the scientific understanding of alcohol and policies to reduce associated harms. Before joining IAS Katherine worked for the UK Civil Service promoting public health information campaigns. Katherine holds a MSc in Global Health and Public Policy from the University of Edinburgh and is currently studying part-time for a Doctorate in Public Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Katherine’s area of research interest is the role of corporations and managing conflicts of interest in public health policy.
